Manchester United 1-1 Chealsea (Manchester win on penalties)
All in all an excellent advert for English football. The fans behaved well (take note Glasgow fans) and the match itself had a bit of everything - skill, drama, excitement and even a bit of controversy.
Manchester are worthy European champions but this was still a closely contested game between two well matched teams. There can be no question about it - the Premier League is the best in the world right now.
The only downside was the behaviour of Drogba who proved yet again what a prima donna he is by getting himself sent off for slapping an opponent. |

When John Terry was walking up to the penalty spot, I honestly thought we'd lost and even started to shed a tear! I'm so happy we won, we deserve it. I think we were both equal during the match on wednesday, we dominated the first half while Chelsea dominated the second, but we've been amazing all season and we really deserved that reward.
One thing that annoyed me though was that little fight near the end. No wonder kids are thugs these days when their role models act like that! 22 fully grown men bitch slapping each other on a pitch is ridiculous. Fair enough they were tired and had cramp, but with the amount of money they're on, they should shut up and put up with it! |

| I totally agree. What i should have said was "this was an excellent advert for English football except for the specticle of grown men slapping each other like little girls and crying like babies!" |

| Indeed! It doesn't really give a good impression of the English does it lol. What footballers seem to forget is that they're representing the country and they represented us fairly poorly that night. |

To have a loser in this final was a real shame.
Chelsea overall in my opinion were better after hitting the woodwork twice but all credit to manutd. |
