Oh I'm proud of her alright. Just glad she's such an individual. I'm taking her to London on the 18th Dec to see busted in concert and we're going to stay at the Wembley Plaza overnight as there's no trains home. It's gonna be great.

In the hols we have 'girlie' alnighters where we put our music on (quietly so we don't wake the others up) and just talk, laugh, write, laugh, and prob laugh a bit more. Oh, did I say we have a laugh? She can be a bit random at times.

OMG - won't go to see busted??? Sorry, that sounds rude.

They are just one of the best bands around. That and McFly, Good Charlotte, Rooster, Razorlight, Hoobastank, HIM, Maroon 5, Linkin Park, Nada Surf, Rasmus, Metallica, Jet, Guns n Roses, Velvet Revolver etc etc etc. It does help if you like the music your kids listen too (my other half hates most of it - ahhh).

When I'm doing my taxi bit for Sam (16), Amy will often come along and we'll drive miles out of our way (after we've dropped him off) just so we can have the cd up full blast and sing away. Thank god no one else can hear us tho!

Speak soon, I'll tell, Amy you said Hi.

MY mum wouldn't be seen dead at a Linkin Park concert. In fact I think seeing them would probably kill her

Hehe, nah, my Mum's a-ok! Just doesn't share my music tendencies :D

I think it's great you like some of your kids music though! You can be our trendy mum of the month!

Linkin Park - I'd love to see them in concert! See - trendy Mum indeed. Maybe I'll see them one day.
We'll start with Busted 1st. It's going to be quite an experience us two females finding our way round London. Better make sure I've got the A-Z :nike:

Haha, well lemmie loose on your wardrobe and I can turn any woman into a certifiable hussy if ya want :D

Oh London is a terrible place to navigate. :) I went there last year to visit an ex g/f of mine that lives there. The people tend to be cheerier than in Eastenders at least!

When are Busted down there then?

We're going to the last concert in their tour 18th Dec. Amy will be on school hols by then so no doubt it'll turn into one of those alnighters.

Yea, I know what you mean about London. I've been the grand total of twice. Both times I was still living in Cornwall (man I miss the coast). Once was with a boyfriend - became an ex as soon as we got home - he was a right Pr*t while we were there.

the second time was with my the fiancee, now husband. He went to teacher training college in Eltham so we went to see some of his former classmates. Never been on my own though (quakes in her shoes - or would if she was wearing any).

As for the wardrobe - I'll have to make do with jeans (again) at least I've got some new ones now - managed to treat myself before the kids needed anything new. hey ho.

Hha, *enters spinster mode* men! :P :D We're not all bad, just some of us are, yeah, prats
Or did ya dump him 'cos you thought he was taking you to Paris?

You don't wear shoes? Bet that kills yer feet! Sure I took that joke from the 60's.. :D

Hehe, it's a great adventure going on your own to places, though I must admit it's also bloody stressful for me! :P I get by going to town on the bus with my trusty MP3 player and Muse though :D

Hehe, naughty you! Jeans are good but.. bah! You want a halter and hot pants! :D I'm the (camp, apparently.. thanks Amy..I think... :P) guy that knows how to make a woman slutty, erm, trendy. :D

Yep

Her name is AMY - well, Amy Jade Amber to be exact. Long brown VERY curly hair (from my side of the family I might add) & big brown eyes (also my side of the family). V popular at school but no boyfriends - lots of friends who are boys tho.

I have naturally curly hair too :) T'is great being able to do things with it that my straight, thin-haired bro and Dad can't.

Ahhh, won't be long now before she finds a b/f then! :D

Likes loads of boys - a major crush on Dougie from McFly. I think it's because she's "original" and likes a lot of the things they like that boys get on so well with her.
