Cristiano Ronaldo: Monkey Business
While dining with his family one evening, Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo spotted a beautiful woman (Julie Hawkins) at another table. "His hair looked like it had bean sprouts hanging out the front," she later recalled. Nonetheless, after learning his identity, she passed her number on through a mutual friend, and Ronaldo had his interpreter call her to arrange a meeting at the plush Mottram Hall hotel where he was living.
"We switched on the television because we couldn't understand each other," Hawkins recalled. "The program was about monkeys mating and suddenly he started mounting me! As he straddled me, he gasped, 'You, footballer.' Then we made love on his bed to the sound of monkeys mating in the background."
["He was a lovely, funny man," Hawkins later remarked, "and he knows where I am any time he wants a bit of monkey business!"]
