Oh sure, things in common definitely help break the gender barrier. Just look at our very own Amyster, you just know her tomboy self was rocking along at mosh concerts and climbing trees with the lads when she was younger.

Must be something to do with the name then, 'cos our AMy was a real tomboy. Always climbing & trying everything. Used to call her "Daredevil Amy" when she was mums & Toddlers (that'll embarress her) as she would climb on the tables & stand at the top of the slide doing a little "look mum, no hands" type dance.

Probably why she's had so many broken bones. 7 trips to a& e to be plastered. Most for her wrists but once for her right radius & Ulna which she broke clean through by tripping up in the front room would you believe. Don't ever want to hear that snapping sound again I can tell you. :(

Anyone else noticed how certain names seem to suit certain types of people? The youngest is called Thomas & he's 10 (11 in Nov). I've met several other kids called Thomas and they all share the same chunky build as him. Wierd.

Also known several Sharons who all have slightly larger build.

Comments anyone?

Yvonne

I knew a Sharon who was 'cuddly' :) But she's also a minor pub singing celebrity in Manchester these days :D

I've never seen a cuddly Mike (not that I'd cuddle men usually!), or an ugly Jon, arf!

Yea, Hiya Jon

Been soooooo busy posted fanfic I missed everyone last night.

there is def something about names suiting people, ya know, abit like dogs reflecting the looks of their owners.

Aren't you a modest thing.

I don't know any other Yvonne's so not sure if I'm stereotypical (god, big word for this time of night) or not.

Wot you been up to this weekend then?

Yvonne

Ah, hiya Yvonne

I've only seen one Yvonne before you and she was fat and black. Are you? :)

This weekend, well went out to ol' Stockport with my bro as usual on a Saturday afternoon, got in a mini row with the shopkeeper when returning a game (also as usual ).

Watched United this afternoon in the pub, the place was split behind United fans (pro United) and City fans (pro Arsenal) and 2 Aresnal fans that rather stupidly showed their faces.

Been arranging a meet up for my sign language class at a pub tomorrow night too. I'm the only one in class to have done signing before so I'm pre4pared for a barrage of questions.

And how's your weekend been?

Nope, white, slightly overweight (perfect my Pat says), size 16/18 depending.

weekend has been soooo boring. Washing, cleaning, eating, sleeping, Tescos, oh joy.

Kids are home all week, boohoo (don't mean it really).
Tomorrow looks like being more of the same - a ton of washing, the kitchen is in a mess, can't be bothered now. Also got some grouting to finish. More joy.

I'm not feeling miserable - honest, just sounds it. not much witty you can say about housework, which is why I avoid it as much as possible. I would describe my household as "lived in". You know, not always spick & span, you could doss around without feeling uncomfortable or worrying about making the place untidy. My mum is always charging around tidying up, you know the sort of thing, put an empty cup down and it's whisked away immediately. Life's too short for all that rubbish.

As long as there's food on the table, the kids are clothed & happy, the bills are paid, then to hell with the rest. On a bad day tho, watch out, I'll be bombng around the place like a whirling dirvish, even if it is mainly one handed.

Size 16/18? Then Pat's right I'm sure!

Hehe, I getcha :) I'd be the same if I was doing all those housewifely chores. Ack, I'm glad I'd be the working man sometimes :D

Ya should get some help doing it all with 1 arm though! :o
