Awww, poor you! Well, since you have 3 kids now I'm guessing you got lucky with the men eventually! :D

I'm 21 and still looking for Ms. Right. There's more choice in Manchester yet there's also less. Too many darn scallies! :lol

Oh I'm sure I'm gonna enjoy the taxi ferrying :D I'm learning myself atm, though my instructor's in hospital atm with kidney stones. Caused usually by stress, he went in on Saturday, the day before my due 5th lesson with him. Get the impression the two are linked.. lol

Awww bless! lol I'm like my mum in that we're both 'touchy-feely' people as she puts it. We both love a good cuddle, though I won't stretch to do it when mates are around!

Hehe, ah no, the 5 lads are just friends of mine that meet up at a house every so often (not as often as I'd like, but when 3 are at uni and 2 working full time, what can ya do? :) and yes, we all live with our parents at 20/21, sad I know :D). Usually to insult each other's music collections and talk about the latest g/f's and games, usual lads stuff. :)

Sadly for him, Graham (our usual host :)) has a g/f, so he has to keep his appreciation of the ladies to a minimum.

Poor Graham

Yep I got lucky eventually - a long story cut very short, met him when I was fifteen. he didn't ask me out til I was 21 - How's that for a slow worker!!

21 - you've loads of time yet!! Make the of most of it while you can (be safe though) - God I sound like my mum!!!!!!! HORROR!!

I was still living at home at 21, and we still lived with Pat's (my husband) Mum & Dad until I was 24 - dark days.

Moving out also meant moving away and we left Cornwall in 198? um, (has to stop and think now - well it is 3am) 1987. Okay, one or two grey cells still firing then, whew! :smt101

I wouldn't recommend giving the mates a cuddle! Might lead to misunderstanding

Anyway, I guess I'd better turn in, got the dreaded school run in the morning (or should I say later this morning). Yippee - half term next week - thank god. Oh, hang on that means the kids are home all week - no loud music and singing (my 10 year old gets most embarressed). Damn! Oh Well, I could alway banish them to the garden shed if I get desperate - sounds like a plan to me! :angel12: As if I would.!

Blimey! That is slow! Though having said that, 'Gray' and his missus have been engaged - what - 4 separate times now I believe in the 3-4 years they've been together.

Leonie (Mrs. Gray :)) has had a troubled past certainly (something I feel I must talk/ask about here another day to solve some concerns I have about her) and she worships the ground he stands on. Gray's a very...how do I put it..laid back kinda guy, so often appears a bit insensitive to her at times. Maybe he is, but I still know he's a good guy deep down, and despite all their rows, they're still together. Though god have I had to reassure her enough times! :)

lol! *in camp voice* Noo it's ok ducky! I like to keep in touch with my feminie side  lol Nah, I'd love a homosexual mate actually, but I'm strictly straight. :) Ladies can certainly feel free to cuddle me though! :D

Haha, make the most of it, god I wish I could sometimes! I get bad headaches quite often that usually put any plans I have to go out off right there. I've also got the loving, concerning mother who even now hates the idea of me staying out after midnight. Well, it shows me in her own way that she cares anyway. :)

Having said that, I'll definitely have to hit the hay myself now before she finds out I'm still awake and orders me castrated at dawn. G'night!

While I respect my wife a great deal, if I was to stay up posting until 2am - my wife would probably have me castrated at dawn too..

I got into a spot of bother earlier this week for playing SC4 for two hours...

Anyway janejade- welcome. It sounds like you have a very talented family, and with the songwriting you are talented yourself. you obviously passed on the creative bug!

Its easy to get carried away though. I always set an alarm for myself - and generally leave my computer alone from about 10:30 pm onwards. As a software engineer and gamer- I really had to learn that. There have been times when I have been running on minimal sleep for days...

As you can imagine - being married means I spend a great deal less time on the computer than I did before...

The thing about computers - is it is easy to loose a few hours. Even pre-internet it was like a different world..Now there is so much to see and learn about on the net, and lots of great games.. It can be difficult to drag myself away from it.

Spend time on here at night as sleep can be a problem - specially since busting my elbow in May. Sometimes do manage a full nights sleep but not often. It's great now I've found this site (& the Busted.com) I can post to my hearts content now. Yippee (what a sad, sad person)

ok, so now I'm officially trendy & cool!! Wow, you are good for the ego

As for the elbow, don't know yet. I was in plaster for over 4 weeks, in a brace for 4 weeks, physio for 4 weeks then back in plaster for 5 weeks, now 7 weeks later I've just had yet another hosp clinic visit - can carry light items but no load bearing (ie; don't lean on it). As the good dr said, can't guarante it is completely healed, could break down again at any time & the joint will wear out early. :( Just hope to god I'm not back in plaster again when i go again end of Nov - would make the trip to London more interesting.:!:
See- told you I don't do anything unless I do a good job. Broke the bottom of the humerus into 3 sep bits - not a mark any where else, just the arm. Thank god it's the left arm.

I'm now back driving but have all the bad habits I tried so hard not to adopt - you know, one hand on the steering wheel etc. Use the right hand for the hand break & reverse gear. But I'm mobile at last & now resumed my job as taxi driver for the little (not - Sam is 6 foot) darlins.

Bet you wish you hadn't asked now.

As for staying up late - was up until 5.30! Have to be earlir tonight though, the matchsticks are already in use to keep the eyelids propped up. :smt015

yawn, yawn

Hehe, well my motto (especially with all you ladies, you insecure things you! :D) is try not to feel down when possible.

As Green Day put it in Minority (perhaps my all-time fave song :D) - "you are your own sight". I'm like Kenn Dodd in thinking that all people can be beautiful physically (anyone that says I look a bit like him gets a slap with a wet haddock! :P ).

Or perhaps my hormones are just still raging at 21, I dunno arf! Hehe, be yourself and be confident. There's nothing wrose for me that seeing someone down, especially about their looks. I knopw, I used to be there :) I know I'm never gonna be Orlando Bloom, but so what? I can still make ladies happy, and that should be everyone's goal in life, to make others happy. And to feel sexay of course!

lol! I didn't ask to make polite conversation :D
Blimey, that sounds like a very servere break, how did ya do exactly? :?
