Top 10 Dance Singles
1 – Fragma - Toca’s Miracle 2008
Nothing extremely new from the record released only a decade ago, but a few subtle tweaks have proved it popular enough.
2 – Utah Saints – Something Good 08
Yet another re-release see’s a more upbeat and funky version of the original with a great video to match.
3 – Portishead – Machine Gun
It’s been a long-time coming, but this song is nothing short of amazing. Rapid fire beats and haunting vocals shows that Portishead haven’t lost their touch.
4 - Count & Sinden Ft Kid Sister - Beeper
A bizarre tribute to the useless beeper device makes for an up tempo garage hit.
5 – Fedde Le Grand - Get This Feeling
Another steady dance number from this mystery producer who has yet another sterling dance track up his sleeve.
6 – September – Cry For You
Oh dear, when your entire video is nothing more then a strip tease, you know the song is clutching at straws for attention. Dire and bland.
7 – Sam Sparro – Black & Gold
A dance smash from out of nowhere, this new comer not only rides upon the wave of the new dance craze, but asserts his authority on to the scene.
8 - Delinquent Ft Kcat - My Destiny
More chip shop sounding music for you to screech along to when the clubs have shut. Feels like it was made in two minutes, looped and pressed on to CD.
9 – Funkerman – Speed Up
An odd name for a not so odd track. No boundaries are broken here as this track sticks to safe formula to get people up and grooving.
10 – Benga & Coki – Night
Sometimes I get the feeling people don’t try or have their hearts dedicated to a project. This is a typical example. Horrible stuff.
