So it's finally here, Ashes to Ashes is the much anticipated follow up to one the best BBC series in recent years - Life on Mars.
Expectations were always going to be high so it's no surprise that this hasn't quite lived up to them yet. It was always going to be tough following Life on Mars but the big problem is that the main protagonist is too aware of her situation so ther's not as much mystery or suspense as before.
If it's anything like LOM then ther's going to be pleanty of twists and surprises so this may take time to get going. Gene Hunt is still the best thing on TV though! |

I have never seen Life on mars...
So i didnt watch Ashes to Ashes.
I love the songs though, David Bowie is fantastic. |

| What do you mean neither of you have seen Life on Mars?! It was one of the best written, most original, enthralling things the BBC has ever done. Get the DVD's if you have to. I'm so confident you'll enjoy it i'll refund you the price of the DVD's if you don't (um, maybe). |
