Yeah just say you were trying to find your McFly album and you 'accidnetly' dropped them on the floor and they smashed to pieces!! :twisted:

When I still lived at home (this is about 10 years ago), and my sister used to insist on belting out cheesy pop at full volume, I put a tiny resistor in series with each of her speakers - which she never found, thus limiting her maximum volume. It you put a smallish capacitor in series - you can limit the bass as well if you have someone who insists on making the floor vibrate.
