Ricky "Hitman" Hatton. Was knocked out in the 11th round last night in his mega fight with Floyd "Pretty Boy" Maywhether.
Although he lost, Ricky deserves credit for giving the man rated as the best pound for pound fighter on the planet one of his hardest fights. Hatton started off at a fast pace and outworked Maywheather early on. Even the American commentators had Hatton ahead at round 6. Ultimatly though, Hatton ran out of steam and Maywheather was just too good.
Hatton will still go down as one of Britans finest ever fighters. |
