Hello Eskimosik,
Welcome to the forum...
I think we should all do our bit to help prevent it. |

Humans are definitely contributing to global warming - however, since time began there obviously has been periods of cooling and warming and demise of species.
We are progressive in technology. Everyone uses a computer and leaves a light switched on when they leave the room. People take things like central heating for granted in this day and age and judging by the amount of debt people can get themselves into, we definitely are consumers.
How many people using this board recycle plastic waste? How many people use a washing machine to wash one item of clothing? how many reuse carrier bags, or don't use carrier bags at all (because they use for instance cloth shopping bags)? How many people grow their own veg - and if they do, who knows what is involved in growing organic food? How would you keep food and milk fresh if you don't have a fridge?
To make a significant reduction in global warming, lots of people need to change lots of things. |

I thought that this will never come to Ukevents
For sure this is one thing that is really affect we people in the third world the most.
For a start believe me or not but our weather down here has changed significantly! When it comes to the seasons or month when we have sunshine, its like the sun came down some metres, when its raining season rivers bust their banks....
All these we believe are as a result of Global warming we have to do something about it. |

Mac's Australia, which is considered 1st world is suffering alot. In case people havn't seen the charts there's one big massive hole right above my countries heads. We have such severe water shortage its scary. Our government scrambles to put in place things like de-salination plants in hopes of getting us water if the drought dosn't lift. |
