1. Eric Prydz - Call On Me - Well this dance track with the rather raunchy video full of half nacked aerobic dancers has managed to hold off Girls Aloud. The dance tune with the samples Steve Winwood's 1980's hit "Valerie" is still the nations favourite!
2. Girls Aloud - Love Machine - Love Machine stayed put this week at number two, they didnt quite sell enough records to budge the top slot. Not a big fan of Girls Aloud, but then I am not a fan of any manufactured band! But hey thats just me!
3. Nelly - My Place/Flap Your Wings - I like some of Nellys tracks but I cant say I am that bigger fan of this one! But it has still manage to creep to number three.
4. Jojo - Leave (Get Out) - Teen pop sensation Jojo is at Number 4 and for someone who is so young she has an outstanding voice, again she is a bit poppy for me but good on her for doing so well, lets just hope she is not another Britney in the making!
5. Green Day - American Idiot - Well I am gutted about this I cant believe they have slipped down one place, this is a brilliant come back single from the rockers Green Day and I was certain they were going to get to Number 1! But hey I know a lot of people who havent bought the album yet (including myself) so you never know!
6. Brian McFadden - Real To Me - Former Number 1 Real To Me has slipped down to number 6, Brian is doing well in his solo career and I wish him all the best, he has a brilliant voice he porved that whilst he was in Westlife. I hope he does well.
7. 3 Of A Kind - Baby Cakes - Still in the charts with their debut single, they are looking steady at number 7. I honestly dont actually think I have heard this song yet! Which seems a bit werid to me! But I will keep my ears open for it!
8. Donny Osmond - Breeze On By - When I read this i was like WHAT? Donny in the charts am I having a time trip or what!! But no he is in there at number 8 with Breeze On By! Get on Donny!!
9. Twista - Sunshine - I really like this song 'Sunshine' is a summer-drenched street anthem that uses the delicious Bill Withers 'Lovely Day' sample and features the soul filled vocals of the outstanding, Anthony Hamilton, it is a shame that it has slipped down to number 9.
10. Natasha Bedingfield - These Words - Well I am not to sure what to make of Natasha I must admit this song is very catchy but it is getting a bit triesome now! But goo on her for following in her brothers footsteps so well and living up to the Bedingfield name. But I think we can safely say she will outdo Daniels careers! I think she may have done so already!! |
