Just for today
I will not brood about yesterday or worry about tomorrow
I will live through this day only
I will only set goals for today and not far-reaching ones or try to overcome all my problems
I will be happy and not dwell on thoughts that depresses me.
I will accept what is and face reality, correct things I can correct and accept those I cannot.
I will improve my mind by reading something that requires effort, thought and concentration
I will make an effort to be agreeable, kind and courteous to those who cross my path
I will improve my appearance, speak softly and not interrupt when someone is talking
Just for today I will refrain from improving anybody but myself.
Just for today I will gather the courage to do what is right and take responsiblity for my own actions
I shall treat today as the first day of the beginning of my life and live it to the full constructively
Tomorrow will take care of itself
