At the age of 42 I announced to my Husband and Son that it was now my Self Years - My time to take all my hope and aspirations off the back-burner and begin. Shock and horror but they have been very supportive - my Special Men - wouldn't change them for all the riches on earth. ha ha ha ha ha :-D

I have also gone back to learning new skills.
I must teach my son to learn as much as he can.

Yes Debbys teaching your Son is a good thing. Sometimes we forget that we need to set example for our children and others to follow. Good for you my friend

Hello Debs

Please to hear that you will be more positive in things you do this. Now that I have completed and obtained my Social Work qualification, I am starting a Research Base Course today - Public Health to finish off my Degree. I have also completed my Diploma in Remedial Massage so I hope to put all this knowledge and skills to get a better job and spending more time home

If indeed now that opens up a whole new line of thought

What if I could change my life
What if I could live it all over again
What if I never got married
What if I never got divorced
What if I was thinner
What if I was heavier

This could go on for ages you know LOL
