When I first became interested at age 12 (and it's many years on now!) in the then WWF's style of professional wrestling, I was young and impressionable. Big Boss Man was one of the characters you couldn't help but enjoy, be it heel or babyface; in the WWF's 'Glory Days'.

I didn't know Ray personally, he was someone I always had in my mind for an interview and had finally got the contacts to do so and was considering pushing for it around Christmas time this year. One thing this business teaches you, is nothing is forever - it's barely even temporary. And it hurts us all, from fans to writers to workers and staff.

All the decent people go far before their time in this business. But there's one hell of a roster of talent up in 'Wrestling Heaven', where I'd happily presume Ray Traylor is. A former WWF/E tag team and hardcore champion, and someone who was capable of being in both most known era's of success - the late 1980's and early 1990's, and the late 1990's also. His WCW stint with different gimmicks (name changes that didn't really bear fruit) was slightly forgettable, but that wasn't any fault of his. His days before his first WWF run are also well worth checking out at any old school wrestling video tape trader, as 'Big Bubba'.

If you can 'log online' in heaven, Ray; and read this - You will be missed, and never forgotten. Once again, wrestling's family loses a good guy. On behalf of myself, and RBW and UCW here in the United Kingdom also - our condolences to the family and friends of Ray.
