http://www.dogpolitics.com/my_weblog/2007/07/the-dublin-city.html
in this article and other articles and the news its happening in Dublin and they are trying to bring the law into the uk.
Right here goes Debbie has know me for a while now and knows iam a big animal lover I'm really to soft for my own good.
This got pointed out to me by a friend of mine i just thought she was being grumpy with me because she had to take me to vets but as you can see above its true.
It makes me mad that people assume that all people that lie in council houses are low life scum, not all of us are. yeah i admit there are people about that do have dogs just as a symbol to say look at me iam hard that is not why i have always had big dogs and i have never got them saying look at me iam hard .
i think this is totally unfair fare enough penalize the UN responsible owners but don't penalise the good people i know some people have like say 4 dogs in a council house i think the council doesnt have a right to say u cant have a dog but i think more than 2 is cruel unless you live on a farm. |

Wow, this has made me angry!
Firstly, I live in a council house and I'm sick of people assuming we're all low-life chavs that do bugger all every day and claim off everybody else's taxes that they pay. Granted, my mum does live off benifits but only coz she is a single mum who is disabled so cannot go out to work for 2 reasons.
Secondly, who the hell has the right to tell us what dogs we can keep in our house. I have 2 dogs - an 8 year old border collie and a 9 year old staffordshire bullterrier/rottweiler cross. There is no way in hell that I would ever give my dog up coz some stupid person believes that I keep her just to make myself look more threatening.
And as for documents, I think we have some for my border collie as we bought her from a farm, but my staffi/rottweiler was actually saved by my ex-stepdad from a druggy house that was up the road. All of her brothers and sisters died, so I'm so glad we kept her. She has never been aggressive to anyone, and if you saw her, you'd know why - she's the most gorgeous, softest dog I've ever had. It annoys me when people assume "fighting dogs" such as her breed are nasty, coz they're not.
Sorry for the long post, it's just p***ed me off! What happened to freedom in this world. |

I'm guessing those people don't live in council houses themselves? It's totally unfair to put us all under that stereotype though. No one has any right to pass judgement on people and their families just because of the type of accomodation they live in. And we should all be able to keep any type of pet that we want.
I'm scared of spiders, so does that give me the right to ban people from keeping them as pets? No it bloody doesn't.
Ok I'm going into a rant again here, but I think you see my point! lol |

flipping heck, that is a bit harsh! Who thought up that stupid ban?
If people keep dogs for fighting and are not looking after them properly - they should be banned from keeping dogs full stop, not people who genuinely want a pet! |
