Wow I love the Kinks and Im pretty sure that most of you guys love them two!! Ive recently been listening to their singles collection and wow that is one of the best cd's in my collection!!
The kinks were formed in London 1963.
The Kinks first came to everyones attention in 1964 as one of the most noisest and aggresive bands with hit songs such as "You really got me" and during the next five years were rarely out of the charts!
In 1969 they invaded America and became equally sucessful over there and in the Uk and had built audiences of 750,000 an album.
I think the Kinks are really another one of the best bands in the UK, if you like The Kinks then you are bound to like The Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, The Beatles and The Rolling stones!
The Kinks singles collection is really a collection of the kinks 60's singles from hits such as 'Really got me' and 'Lola' All classic tracks are here and there is really not a dull song on this album!!! All songs are intersting and fit well next to each other such as "Rock and Roll Fantasy" and "Mr. Pleasant."
This album is really amazing and the Kinks will go on in our hearts just as the beatles have done!
