I was amazed when in 2005 a new champion in snooker came strolling past I just couldn’t see it happening. Shun Murphy had witnessed his first victory which I didn’t expect at all. I love when things like this happen in the world of sport. It just makes you wonder what will happen in the next year. Although Steve Davis showed that he is still strong and standing the victory still didn’t come to him. Victory isn’t easy to get it takes a hell load of luck and energy to get there! I’m not speaking from personal experience the only victory that I get is running daily against my own personal scores. To play against many other players is a totally different atmosphere. I loved watching the final game because you know that this is it! Not every game can make you interested in watching until the final. You have to be captured by the essence of new found victory which can be felt at those last shots that get your heart racing as if you are running the marathon. What a great feeling that is!
