Did you know that Chelsea’s John Terry is the Premierships highest paid player? I can bet that you didn’t! Not much of news if you ask me. In my opinion, the pay of the player doesn’t classify him to be the greatest or the best. It just shows that he gets more in his pocket than the rest of the team. If you think about it he does deserve it after all he is the England captain and he is a hard working player. Terry now earns more than Michael Ballack and Andrei Shevchenko. Does that show that he is a better player than they are? I think that Ballack would be the best player out of the three of them but that’s just my personal opinion. Do you remember all the fuss that began when David Beckham became the worlds most paid player? What was the point of it? I mean it doesn’t make him the best at all! They are all great players but money doesn’t make them the greatest, the way they play does!
