The king of rock'n roll was born in 1935 in Mississpi, he was an only child and in 1948 Elvis and his family moved to Memphis.
Elvis's musical influences were from pop and the country music at the time (1953), he also attended all night gospel church!
In 1954 Elvis began his singign career with Sun Records.In late 1955, his recording contract was sold to RCA Victor. By 1956, he was an international sensation.
Elvis starred in 33 succesful films, made history with special televison appearences and had record breaking live concerts!
His American sales have earned him gold, platinum or multi-platinum awards for 149 different albums and singles, far more than any other artist. Among his many awards and accolades were 14 Grammy nominations (3 wins) from the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, which he received at age 36, and his being named One of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of the Nation for 1970 by the United States Jaycees. Without any of the special privileges his celebrity status might have afforded him, he honorably served his country in the U.S. Army.
His talent, good looks, sensuality, charisma, and good humor endeared him to millions, as did the humility and human kindness he demonstrated throughout his life. Known the world over by his first name, he is regarded as one of the most important figures of twentieth century popular culture. Elvis died at his Memphis home, Graceland, on August 16, 1977.
Well We all know Elvis is crowned king of music ever and he will be for many more years to come.
With a sound and style that uniquely combined his diverse musical influences and blurred and challenged the social and racial barriers of the time, he ushered in a whole new era of American music and popular culture.
He was adored by screaming teens and old ladies!!!! He even got banned from being shown the bottom half of his body cos that shaking thing he did with his legs drove the girls wild and the men didnt like as they thought it was too sexual!!! lol
Anyway all of Elvis songs are so brilliant and fun and so full of live, I could actualy buy another one of his albums!!!

This are all amazing song and fankly listening to them makes me wanna have a swinging 50's party with elvis tunes on for every one to dance to!!!
