My internet and pest woes are driving me nuts, but I realised that I can't let these things get me down as this should be the best week in June. After all, it's Cesc Fabregas week.

Arsenal's 20 year-old Player of the Season (he turned 20 on 4 May) has matured considerably on the pitch and off it. While hardly possessing the imposing stature of his predecessor, his vision, tenacity and skills on the football field are indisputable. Cesc finished last season with the second highest number of assists in the league (if I am not mistaken - after all, I hardly bothered to check other players' stats), continuing to prove his ability to cut through tight defences with a simple flick of his prized foot.

The young Spaniard might have created some controversies (his remark to Mark Hughes prompted the manager to be give a statement in the Arsenal press room after the match - first away manager to do that apparently), but his beautiful words are the ones that will always be remembered.

In what was a disappointing season for Arsenal, Cesc Fabregas was certainly a fiery spark that lit up every match. And who can forget his celebrations when he scored his first 2006/07 league goal?

Congratulations guapo!

Don't feel sorry for Arsenal! They're still a good team even without Mr Va Va Voom, especially with people like Van Persie ready to step into his shoes. I wish Everton had a team (and stadium and money etc etc) like they do.
