Did you count stars after you heard Corinne’s first single Like a Star? I guess most of you didn’t, because she’s a newcomer to the music business. You might be confused on the title of this album, but actually it’s very straight forward. The singer uses her name as the title. This choice is very clever because as an upcoming singer Corinne needs to get her name recognized and remembered by the public. However it’s her soft flowing voice that has captured my heart. The slow melody makes me drift off in to a mid day dream.

Put Your Records On(Track 3) is the choice for those of you that like a bit of a fast paced beat with still the same sort of tone of softness. It’s the perfect summer day out song, would be perfect for family picnics. I think this album best of all reflects the best days of summer. The tone and setting of the songs seems to be light and warm from the heart. Even the videos have sunshine in them, Corinne manages to set happy atmosphere throughout every track. I think she’s done quiet well as a new comer.

My personal favorite is Trouble Sleeping (Track 5) because it seems to reflect an interesting part of love, quiet honestly Corinne reflects her own opinion quiet well. Choux Pastry Heart (Track 7) uncovers a slower, lighter note if compared to the rest of the album. The comparison of a broken heart to a pastry heart is amazingly understandable. In some way, it seems to make sense to use this type of a phrase. If you are looking forward to having a nice, calm day this album would be your best choice for complete mood setting of relaxation.

For those of you that suffered a recent heartbreak I would recommend the last three tracks of the album because they seem to reflect a darker side to love, still in a light tone. Over all I think this album sets a nice mood to the day, it sure does the trick for me! With warm summer nights coming in, you wouldn’t want to miss it!
