Supermassive Black Hole: Matt’s genitals seem as if they have been clamped tightly by a midget swinging on for dear life and the guitar is as thick and dirty as a Mcdonald’s milkshake. That’s why this song is fantastic, its contradictions give it a brashness that oozes rock n roll and masculinity, something that the rock scene needs to fight off all that annoying experimentally angular noise that is prevalent.
Black Eyed Peas ft. Sergio Mendes: The taste of summer is captured, bottled and sold for £3.99, Black Eyed Peas and Sergio Mendes style. Using a classic Brazilian melody from the 60’s, the Hip-Hop treatment it receives makes the original sample seem timeless, that sticky, sugary taste of summer will linger in your mouth every time you listen to this whether you are in the streets of Rio or the, lets say modest, beach of Ramsgate.
