INTERNATIONAL STAR/CHAMPION COMES TO PTW!

For those of you who indulge in a little gossip, the grapevine had said that an international star was set to be arriving in PTW. And it can now be announced as true! Coming from Irish Whip Wrestling all the way to Power Trip Wrestling, is the current IWW Zero Gravity champion - Bingo Ballance! Bingo will be in Luton for PTW on May 19th, and he will be defending his title in a 3 way dance against Matt Naylor; and Seb Drea. Both Naylor and Drea are seriously underrated talents, Naylor is more of an all round wrestler; and Drea is an incredible high flyer. This is a rare chance to see one of the hottest talents in Ireland perform on English soil, and PTW are thrilled to have secured Bingo Ballance's talents for 'Betrayed' on May 19th! There'll be more to come on this match in the following weeks.

HARDCORE HAVOC!

Another match set for PTW 'Betrayed', will be for the PTW Hardcore Title, as current (and controversial) champion Jim Brooks will face off against Luton's own (and very angry) Leon X. At 'Superstitious', Leon X became the first PTW Hardcore champion, but was beaten seconds later by Brooks, with an unscheduled pinfall, which Brooks attributed to "Paragraph 3, Line 7 - Hardcore belts run under 24/7 rules". Brooks then left with the belt, leaving PTW Owner Peter Staniforth no option but to make the match for May 19th.

PTW has received an email from Leon X, stating the following : "In the original contract I put my name to, it said nothing about 24/7 rules. I have looked into this legally, and the 24/7 rule can be suspended by the owner of the company as and when he sees fit. And after the way he attacked me from behind, I am asking PTW Owner Peter Staniforth to suspend the rule for our match on May 19th. If Jim Brooks is as good or smart as he claims, then he will not have a problem with it." We are awaiting the PTW Owner's reply soon.....
