It used to be once you turned 18, you bought your house, got married and started a family.
Now they are saying you have to be well into your 30s before you do that, for those in their 20s, have you done the settling down thing yet ? |

I have my wife sorted, but we are not planning on kids for sometime. We are still living in rented accomodation and moving about a bit, and I have changed jobs recently.. Far from settled down.
I do have long term plans to get out of london before I settle down.. Maybe when I am 30 something I will... |

Well it starts off on a sunny day after work in London, I go chill out at a friends flat, a little off the beaten path from where I live. We go out to the westend for sushi, then playstation 2 until silly hours. Having work in the morning, I get up a little late, feeling a bit worse for wear, but for some reason I have an attitude that regardless of all of that I am gonna smile.
As I step out the door of my mates house, in shorts and T-Shirt (it really was warm the day before), it rains heavily. But I still feel good, and smile. I get on the tube station (Highbury & Islington) - and spot her on the platform.
When I am on the train, we smile to each other. She mentions how hot it is and we end up chatting. She pulls a line on me about my blue eyes and I run over a stop while we swap numbers. I text her from work, and we arrange to eat later on in an Italian Restaurant. And the rest, as they say is history.
It really was a bolt from the blue... Now we have been married for nearly 2 years...
Now can you guess my age? |
