Vikings (6-8) at Packers (6-8), 8 p.m. ET Thursday (NFLN)
WagerWeb.com line: Packers -3.5 (37.5)
Storyline: The Vikings and Packers are among five teams at 6-8 and hoping they might be able to sneak into the NFC playoffs. If the New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons, both 7-7, lose their final two games, it would open the door for one of the 6-8ers to make it if it won both its final two games. The Vikings, who have lost six of the past eight games, are pinning their hopes on a new quarterback as rookie Tarvaris Jackson replaces 38-year-old Brad Johnson as the starter this week. The Packers have won two straight to stay in it, including a 17-9 win over Detroit last week.
Best Bet: The Packers won at Minnesota earlier this season and will take advantage of the rookie quarterback in this home game. Green Bay, 20-13.
