THE GODFATHER OF SOUL IS DEAD.
The Godfather of soul, James Brown died in hospital on Monday morning (25/12/06) at the age of 73.
James Brown will be remembered by his great hits
"Out of Sight," "(Get Up I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine," "I Got You (I Feel Good)" and "Say It Out Loud -- I'm Black and I'm Proud," & Living in America
James Brown was one of the major musical influences of the past 50 years,
And was the founder of Rap, Disco and Soul,( hence the name Godfather of soul.)
He had his first hit on the US rhythm and blues chart, Please Please Please, in 1956.
His stage moves — the spins, the quick shuffles, the knee-drops, the splits — were imitated by performers who tried to match his stamina, from Mick Jagger to Michael Jackson
James Brown will be sadly missed by the music industry,
and was a great entertainer.
He truly was the Godfather of soul.

This guy was a classic....
He will be sadly missed ..
If there is anyone who dont know James brown, then you dont know what you have missed ..
I am proud to have herd his music and I would have loved to have seem him live in concert.
His music will still live on ....
Rest in peace and god be with you xxxxxx |
