Not a pic friends---just my very first attempt at writing a little poem..
Christmas Eve. ----- (c) J. K. Beattie.
Last night I slept so well,
Memories flooding back like a spell.
In perfect contentment, of them all,
How pleasant to dream, and recall.
Back to a Christmas Eve of long ago,
My litllte sister and I waiting for Santa to show.
All full of excitment on this special night,
The frost on the snow, like diamonds bright.
The smells of Mum`s cooking for Christmas day,
Came up to our bedroom, all the way.
Must have been 66 years ago,but what a joy,
To remember now, when I was just a boy.
My memories will always stay,
Nothing will erode them, come what may.
Of all the good nights in the year,
My Christmas Eves are still very dear.
The joys I`ve experienced, are as true,
As i`m sitting, in spirit, dear reader, next to you... |

Felt like a bit painting friends---so I snapped one of my own Acrylic paintints hanging on my sitting room wall----this one--
Then cropped a little from each side---and painted it into a winter scene----Kenneth
