I still listen to Nirvana sometimes. I am sure I have seen Foo Fighters live when I went to an Ozzfest.
I did for a while lapse into liking Oasis... Not sure what happened there... |

The biggest tragedy was that I passed out halfway through a really good Pantera set. It is not surprising - it was a stupidly hot day - and I will refrain from mentioning how much I had smoked... Ahh those were crazy days...
I have seen a number of great (and obscure) bands live... Pink Floyd was pure theatre - a joy, U2 were just having a laugh, Ozric Tentacles were spectacular. The best ones have to have been the Chemical Brothers who did a surprise showing at a student union building next door to my room in the halls, and 808 State - because I ended up sat on the grass chatting and sharing a smoke with them after a great gig at a summer festival.
One good reason I am teetotal, and a non-smoker or toker these days was because of all the cool things I missed while being there just because I was too out of it to really appretiate them. I might drink a little for special occasions, but I would rather be sober these days, although I dont get to as many cool gigs as I used to. |

The 80s for sure! I was only born in '88 but I love the decade - especially the music. And when I was young I so wanted one of those dodgy frizzy perms, my older cousin and her friends had them and I used to think "that is so cool". Eep!
The second best is the 50s for the fashion! |
