Your safety on the Internet is very important to us at UKEvents.net and we want to make your time on this site as enjoyable as possible.
If you are feeling uncomfortable on UKEvents.net because of another member, the first thing to do is inform the administrator or your parent or guardian.
We have many steps we can take to restrict the offending member from contacting you on UKEvents.net. We take your safety on UKEvents.net very seriously.

The top ten tips for safety from Think U Know
01 It's best not to give out your personal details to online mates.
02 Personal stuff includes your messenger id, email address, mobile number and any pictures of you, your family or friends.
03 If you publish a picture or video online – anyone can change it or share it.
04 SPAM/ Junk email & texts: don’t believe it, reply to it or use it.
05 It’s not a good idea to open files that are from people you don’t know. You won’t know what they contain – it could be a virus, or worse – an inappropriate image or film.
06 It’s easier to get on with people online and say stuff you wouldn’t offline.
07 Some people lie online.
08 It’s better to keep online mates online. Don’t meet up with any strangers without an adult you trust. Better to be uncool than unsafe!
09 It’s never too late to tell someone if something makes you feel uncomfortable.
10 There are people who can help. Report online child abuse here, or find more advice and support.
