i need some help deciding whether to take a oub on!!
would you go for a family-type pub with beer garden, parking, pool, darts, etc, you know the sort i mean; or would you go for a town centre pub with a 2am licence, with the possiblity of turning it into a "specialised" themed pub (not a townie pub) |

Hi michelle
I personally would be in favour of a family type pub, but i think a wise idea is to do some research and see what is most lacking in the specific area you intend having the pub. |

Hi Michelle,
I agree, I think a family type pub. would be better.
You could ask around to see the history of the pub you are looking to take on.
Goodwill is a big factor in a business. |

Family type pub with good grub is my fave but town pub would probably do more trade during the weekdays.
Hard to decide but I agree that good research is a must depending on location.
My worry about a town pub would be the trouble that could be encountered late evenings when folk are out on the razzle and crowds getting out of control.
Good luck with whatever you decide. |
