An interview with Julian. ( E-motion-L )

Julian first I would like to thanks for taking the time for doing this interview with me.
And wish you the best of luck for the future.

Where are you from?
I'm coming from the US.
Washington D.C..

How did you come up with the name E-motion-L?
It's E-Motion-L big M (:
I've searched for names which describe my music.
My music always comes from my heart so it includes all my emotions.
My songs are very emotional. A song is great when the listeners are
feeling the emotions an artist had when he has written the song.
That's why my artist name is E-Motion-L .

Do you write any of your own lyrics?
You know what? I just write my own lyrics. Everything's coming
from my heart. There are too many artists today who don't write
their own lyrics. I think you are just able to feel a song if you express
yourself with it & put your own thinkings, messages & feelings in it.
It's too commercial nowadays. That's why I respect & like artists like
Craig David. He's doing his thing & writes all lyrics on his own.
That makes music real & truthful for me.

How long have you been in the music industry?
For about 18 months now. Isn't that long but i just stand at the
beginning. I'm 17 .

How hard are you finding the music industry?
I think it's very very hard. The problem is that they're so many people
trying to influence you or trying to change your style for a better
promotion. You can lose your integrity easily. You need a strong
personality to keep yourself alive in this industry.

Who in the music industry influenced you when you were growing up?
Everybody with real talent & great lyrics.
For example Craig David, Usher, Tupac & Nas.
But my music is very personal. I'm trying to create my own
style & not to copy other great artists just to get famous.

Who in the music industry inspires you at the moment?
I'm feeling Ne-Yo's "So Sick" at the moment. Great love song.
Masta Ace also He has got great lyrics & nice hip-hop tunes.
In the hip-hop underground DZK & Hard Target. They both got a
wicked vibe.

What are your dreams for the future?
For my music that more & more people are listening to my music &
enjoying everything they hear. but
love & justice.

Who would you like to do a duet which?
I'm not in the position to collab with big artists yet,
but i would like to do remixes for Craig David.

Do you have any last words you would like to tell us?
Don't forget to listen to my music on soundclick.com/emotionl .
They're a lot of new tunes coming soon.

Thank you for the interview. I enjoyed it.

Thanks again Julian and I hope to hear more of your music in the future.
here the song here...
