Being 40!
I was dreading the day for when i became forty, all i could think about is oh my god i am getting old.
Now i am there my life seem to change and for me the word life begins at forty was a reality, and a good one .
my home life changed and i feel alot better than i have ever been.
I feel more exited to whats ahead of me now and that getting old is not much of a threat anymore.
The only down side for me is my mood swings ,but hopfully i can over come that.

I know you won't want to hear this but some women in their 40's can and do start the menopause.
Could be a reason for the mood swings one never knows. I am not saying it is am saying it could be as I know that this is how it starts from personal experience, as a guy I won't get the menopause I think I have to go through a mid life crisis where I throw caution to the wind wear all the latest trendy gear pretend to be able to dance like the younger guys do get myself an 18 year old and generally behave like I am 20 again. |

Seriously I have got over them now and feeling much more calmer and confident.
