Wow I walked into the cinema having high expectations about this movie because of all the hype leading up to its release and the movie trailor was one of the best I had ever seen.
The film starts off in New York at the time of the depression when Jack Blacks character is a movie director trying to make it big in the buisness and finds a map of a hidden island known as Skull Island and hires a boat in persuit of a new location for a film unaware of what danger lurks on the island!
Even though this film is three hours long, you will not fnd one dull moment, the film has amazingly special effects and with the graphics Director Peter Jackson has made on King Kong, the animal is sure to capture the hearts of all!
This is a short and sweet review otherwise I would be here all night!
Be sure to take a box of tissues as its a very sad film!

I went to see this film over the xmas holidays and I thought it was absolutley fantastic! It blew me away! The other people I was with didnt think much of it but I thought it was great! :-) The special effects were outstanding and the relationship between the gorilla and the woman was so sad and I was pretty much in tears by the end of the film!

I saw this with my big brother and my best friend. I had a lump in my throught and was trying not to well up in front of them! Could you imagine that in front of those two? My life wouldn't have been worth living!!!
Thing is, though, they were both really quiet as we left so maybe they felt the same!
