Woo woo I went to see this at film as soon as it hit a cinema near me after much waiting!
The cinema was packed, but lucky I went an early to be first in line!!
I was wondering if this remake of the 1988 version would be better with all the computer and special effects trimmings!
The story starts with Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy all being evacuated in world war 2!
They go to a big house in the country which they find very boring, but ine day Lucy discovers a wardrobe in a very empty room to find the wardrobe takes her to Narnia, filled with magical creatures, snow and many friends and enemys which the four children will meet on their way!
This version of the Lion, the witch and the wardrobe was brilliant, a tad boring in some places but complety different to the 1988 version.
This version contains more tension and heart stopping moments!
This film is suitable for all with a story of friendship and being brave!
All the children actors were brilliant espcially as I havent seen them in anything else before and there was a little treat for me as steve from shameless played Mr Tumnus the fawn!!!
I honestly think that this film is the best of 2005
