Eddie Guerrero tribute by Peter staniforth

Eddie Guerrero.
1967 - 2005.

Every click and clatter on this keyboard hurts. Every single tap of a key echoes around my head. All I can hear, since I heard last night; is Eddie Guerrero's voice. Every word I type, and I'm fighting back tears.

Once again, we're robbed of someone great. Once again, we're left to miss someone so talented, entertaining, and special to millions. And sadly, once again; I'm bitter at this life and how unfair it is.

I watched Eddie in Mexico, in NJPW, in ECW (my favourite matches of his career were with 2 Cold Scorpio, Dean Malenko, and Chris Benoit), in WCW, and in WWF/E. He was always that good. He fought his personal demons, and he beat them - he made them TAP. He was inspirational, he was a true hero.

Many will always see him as 'Latino Heat' mainly. But I remember a man who made WCW undercards worth watching. I remember a man in ECW who I used to do whatever it took to get video footage of (no mean feat at that time, here in the UK). I remember a man I'd fight the language barrier of AAA and NJPW for, just to watch him wrestle.

But right now.... I can't type anymore. It hurts. We've lost another special one. But he'll NEVER EVER be forgotten. Thank you for the memories Eddie, you gave us SO many.

Eddie - we lie, we cheat, we steal - and god only knows, we miss you. God bless.

This is a man I respected most among the wrestling superstars! We shall really miss him, now that we in the third world will never hear of the end of the Bed Time Story!

R.I.P - Eddie! :crybaby: :crybaby:

Smackdown's Batistia, Rey Mysterio wore the bands in respect for the Smackdown and Raw match at Survivor Series.

Randy Orton took his place after he passed away. Randy Orton made EDDIE GUERRERO HAPPY in Heaven I think as he won the match for Smackdown.
