A few poems

I wrote these last sunday at like 1am, so they don't rhyme :lol:

These 2 are about someone special in my life. I hate reading em now though.. makes me cry :(

'He'
He makes me feel like I'm the only person in the world,
Loved and adored,
Wanted and needed.

He makes me laugh 'til I cry,
Fills me with happiness,
Makes me smile all day, every day.

He gives me a reason to wake up in the morning,
Makes me want to live,
Makes me want to carry on.

He has given me confidence I needed,
The love I wanted.

He is the only one for me.
He is the only I love with all my heart.

'The Way He Makes Me Feel'
I can't imagine life without him,
A life without his love and attention.

If he left,
My world would end.
I'd break down,
Fall apart,
Die.

I cannot live without him,
I cannot carry on without his affection.

He makes me feel so special,
He makes me feel good about myself.

When I'm down, he'll pick me up,
Make me realise that things will get better.

Now things *are* getting better,
I couldn't of done it without him.

Each and every ''I love you'' from him has made me stronger,
Made me feel like there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

I can finally see a glimse of that light,
Things are looking good now,
Much clearer.

Could I have seen this light without him?
The answer is no.

I love him for everything he has done for me,
The way he makes me feel special.
He is the greatest person in the world to me. :smt049

And this is one I wrote about going back to school..

Face Your Fears
Anxious, paranoid, worried, scared, upset.
All the ways I felt the night before.
Couldn't sleep for worry,
Didn't want to fall asleep,
And make the next day come quicker.

Negative thoughts kept running through my mind,
''They'll look at me, ask questions, pick on me''.
I couldn't stop those thoughts,
I could only let them tire me out,
Until eventually, I'd fall asleep.

When I woke up, I looked straight at the clock,
Counted how much time I had before the big moment arrived.
It wasn't long,
Only 30 minutes.

I got up,
Got dressed,
Got everything ready.
I kept telling myself I was going to do it,
It'll be over soon.

Then 30 minutes had passed by,
It was time to go.
I got in the car,
Then took a deep breath as we entered the car park.

I was nervous and scared,
Shaking like a leaf in the wind.
But I walked down to the classroom,
Saw everyone lined up outside,
And waited for the teacher to let us in.

I sat down,
Took a look around,
Saw that no one had even noticed me,
Nobody was looking.

Ten minutes into the lesson and I was feeling fine,
I had a sudden wave of confidence,
And plucked up the courage to talk to a lad on my table.
That felt good,
Being able to talk to someone my own age after 2 years.

Lesson over - I felt fantastic.
No one had said anything to me,
Nothing critical.

I've learnt something from my expericence,
To overcome your fears, you have to face them.
Nothing is as bad as it seems.

leanne they are lovely

and you dont need a man to carry on and enjoy life with,
i know as i have done it and i know i could do it again ..
just rely on yourself and no one else ..

dearest pingu, no one can churn out a poem like you do,
if you think i'm flattering you, check the post by Debbydo,
and though the first poem was good, there's only person who
can do those things for you- though i wish twas me-we both know that bacchus wouldn't ryme with good,who and do
and it aint debbydo*wipe of that grin debbz*
that poem shoulda been entitled YOU or Pingu

sheesh you're good Leandra- now this is one that doesn't rhyme. and debbz's right you don't need anyone*let alone a man* so keep your head up and don't give anyboby the satisfaction of knowing they have a hold over your life

Honestly, I think I'm crap. And I'm not saying that coz I want you all to give me compliments, just take my word for it.
