England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has made four changes to his side to face Poland, BBC Sport has learned.
As expected, Shaun Wright-Phillips replaces the suspended David Beckham on the right wing while Ledley King comes in for the injured Steven Gerrard.
With Sol Campbell also injured, Rio Ferdinand reclaims his place in central defence and Wayne Rooney partners Michael Owen up front.
Owen will lead the side in the final World Cup qualifying game.
England have already qualified but will be bidding to finish top of their group by beating leaders Poland at Old Trafford.
A positive result could affect their seeding at the World Cup.
However, it is unclear whether the game has anything riding on it, with Fifa not planning to decide until December whether qualification results will be used to determine seedings.
England team to face Poland: Robinson, Young, Terry, Ferdinand, Carragher, Wright-Phillips, Lampard, King, Cole, Owen, Rooney. |
