Doug Basham made his WWE debut on SmackDown! along with his brother Danny in May of 2003. They were managed by a strong, black woman named Shaniqua who wore all leather and brought a whip to the ring. The Bashams were submissive to Shaniqua to say the least. Only four months after their debut, the Bashams defeated Los Guerreros (Eddie and Chavo Guerrero) for the WWE Tag Team Championship. The Bashams often pulled a “switcharoo� in matches where Doug and Danny would swap places when the ref wasn’t looking. Doug and Danny closely resemble each other (except for Doug’s notorious cross eye). The Bashams would successfully defend the championships for about four months until losing them to Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. In addition to losing the championships, the Bashams lost their manager Shaniqua.
In 2004, JBL underwent one of the most drastic career makeovers in the history of WWE. After his makeover and subsequent WWE Championship victory, JBL decided to form a cabinet, starting first by naming Orlando Jordan as his “Chief of Staff.� In November of 2004, JBL’s cabinet was complete when he named the Bashams his “Co-Secretaries of Defense.� The Bashams, along with Orlando, became a key component to helping JBL hold onto his WWE Championship. In January of 2005, the Bashams re-gained tag team gold for the second time.

He is half of the Basham brothers. They split after leaving JBL's cabinet. He is on Smackdown now, while Danny is on Raw.
Not seen them compete of late tho. |
