Felt like I needed to get this off my chest, so I wrote it down in a poem. Hope ya like...
I need you now,
More than I’ve ever needed you before.
Won’t you show me how,
I can pick my life back up off the floor.
You know it’s hard to stay strong,
When you feel like you really can’t go on,
But you make me feel,
Like I’ve found somewhere I belong.
All I want is to feel safe in your arms,
To feel like I’m not alone.
Coz I’m not alone,
I have you.
You make me feel like I’m alive,
Like I’ve got something to live for.
Your love makes me feel strong,
And it gives me a reason to fight on,
Coz you’re the only reason I’m still living.
It gets hard when you’re not around,
When I can’t speak to you.
But when I do,
It’s like all my troubles disappear.
You know how to cheer me up,
How to make me laugh,
And how to make me cry.
You don’t even need to see my face,
To be able to tell when there’s something wrong.
And that’s what makes you so special.
The love I feel from you,
And the love I give to you,
Makes me feel complete.
I’d never need anything else,
If you were with me right now. |
