About time I made a post here. Have been a member for a week or two and made no input yet.
I am Gnashers and may be known to a few of you in the UK.
I am male (at last check). Married with 3 children. 2 daughters who have grown up and fled the nest and one son of 10 years old. From that you can guess fairly acurately that I am over 21.
I have been married to my wife (upon whom I dote) for nearly 12 years. She used to work for me as the nanny for my daughters.
I retired from work in my early 40s and have never looked back. I have seen my son grow and develop from being a babe. I was never there for my daughters.
I tend to be sarcastic and abrupt but would never dream of intentionaly being rude to anyone or indeed offending anyone knowingly.
Enough drivel about me. Someone else can have a go.
If no replies made to this within the week then I will delete this post. |

HI Gnashers
Nice to see an honest speaking bloke on here. Most hide the fact they are wed never mind say how they really feel about their partner. I like honesty....well except when my hubby tells me I have put on a few pounds...then I wish he would shut up!

PS....I was 47 yesterday. Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me.....LOL. Yeps, u guessed it, I am slightly loopy!

Thanks Gnashers.
I had a rather nice birthday. The "kids" at work, i.e. my staff bought me lovely pressies and got a choccie cake with candles for afternoon tea break. It felt like being a kid at home again when they brought it out and all sang Happy Birthday.
Pressies included, money from hubby with which I bought a lovely new handbag, makeup, jewellery box for travelling, Norah Jones CD, a lovely scarf, a handbag mirror with hand embroidery on back (done by my daughter with putting my contact lenses in mind), blank CD RWs and erm...an Easter Egg hunt game that came out of Disney stores :!: I might play an adult version of that this evening.....lol. Sorry I like being wicked now and then :) Then out last night for a few drinks. So all in all a rather good time.
