I wrote these when I was 8 and 9 for a competition at school. Both of them got published in seperate books. Tell me what ya think to em. :)
A beautiful flower:
Wonderful smooth seed,
put into the ground
put smelly mud over it.
Leave it for a month
Whoosh!
There it goes
into the air
over a could
in to the sky
Snap!
(8 y/o)
Animals, animals, animals:
Hasty animals
tasty animals
too big to be hidden
too small to be ridden.
Sometimes a reminder
a fee for the finder
will help
the ridden
to stay hidden.
(9 y/o)
They're pretty rubbish I know, but werent bad considering my age :-D |
