As a Therapist I recommend writing as a form of counselling, when you look at the words on paper it help the person to face up and deal with what is happen. Writing is my form of self counselling and it works.

Hi Debbydo, writing while healing yourself is good, you do not have to write a book just note how you go about things surprising what that can do for you as a person - speaking from personal experience

Brilliant debbydo - setting goals is the way to goal, once its on paper you will achieve - who said chatting with like minded people is not a stimuli?
