Yesh, 'Chewls' were confirmed official champions tonight. Being a Manc I'm not allowed to even like cockneys generally, but thought I'd give a minute shout out to 'em just to prove I'm not completely heartless :D Arf! :lol:
It wasn't as legendary as Arsenal's unbeaten run, and the title most (including myself) on the whole believe was bought by 'Abramo' and his millions. But you can't buy performances and Chelsea have certainly done well this season. If Lineker and friends on Match Of The Day just now are true in their views (IMO I think they are), then we could very weel see another 2-3 world class signing during the summer break.
I've never been totally sure Chelsea have fully gelled as a unit yet though, it'll take them winning the Champions League before I can fully congratulate them on a job well done. Time will tell! :)
But, yes, congratulations Chelsea anyway. :) |
