POP IN HERE MR. DRUMMER!

Drummer needed for exciting new indie band, into everything from The Beatles and The Kinks right up to the current new wave indie, Bloc party, Bravery etc. and now diving headfirst into the current scene. It’s the most exciting time to be in a band in the UK at the moment so we really need a committed drummer to join us asap. I work as Band Promotions manager at The Brixton Telegraph in South London so we have a free fully equipped rehearsal room to use and we also have very good contacts with major artists signed to Poptones, not to mention other venues and nights across London. There are 3 of us, aged 18-21 and we are possibly looking at bringing in a keyboard player as well as a drummer. Nobody over 26 please. Rehearsals will be 2-3 times a week and we aim to play all over the country within 6 months. Own transport is advisable but not 100% necessary at the moment during rehearsals. PLENTY of songs written (several hundred), current rehearsed set of 6 songs with more in development all ready for a drummer to jump into and whack the pot hard!
