Simple Minds - way back in 1989 i saw them at Round Hey Park, the sun was blazing (what's a 'sun'??), it was absolutely A..W..E..S..O..M..E!! - Live in the City of Life tour.
The Everly Brothers - at some point i lost my marbles and went to see their 'comeback' at Preston Guild Hall - absolutely terrible! they were wrinkly, couldn't sing and one of their guitars blew up... says it all...
Oceanic & Sunscream - saw these yrs ago at UCLAN Student Union. i was working there & bought 2 tickets, but no-one could go with me, so ended up on me own, right at front, screamin & wavin me arms \0/
Stranglers & UB40 - saw them 2yrs ago at MEN Manchester. Stranglers were ACE! UB40 were ok.
Natasha Bedingfield, Mark Owen & other bands - last summer at Preston's Party in the Park. Quite good.. well it was free!
Daniel Bedingfield - last month i won tickets from aloud.com (woohoo!) to see him... i thought i only knew 3 songs, & imagined he'd probably just stand there singing in middle of stage, boring, but i was really pleasantly surprised - he bounced around the stage like a springer spaniel on steroids, getting us lot to sing with him, and he even jumped all over the seats near us! i was buzzin when came out... good job it was in Blackpool so we could finish off a good evening.
Filter64 - my brother is in this local band, i reckon they're pretty good.
:smt035 :smt034 :smt020 :smt038  |

We have done quite a lot of interviews with unsigned bands and we also had the unsigned bands week, so you should ask him to get in touch. Our unsigned band page is at http://bands.ukevents.net |
