I had been invited to be an extra in a certain video and was very excited. However, I was unfamiliar with studio language but was afraid of asking the meaning of certain terms.
After the shoot, I called the seemingly friendly studio manager aside and asked him when we would go to the airport. "What for?" he asked, puzzled. "For the pilot shows," I replied.
His prolonged laughter made me realise that I had probably asked him the dumbest question he had ever heard. He later told me it meant the initial video shoots. |
