I am not really one for Urban / RnB music, but this guy I do have a lot of respect for, he has an amazing voice and is it a awesome dancer! And I must admit some of his songs are quite catchy!
Usher Raymond was born in Chattanooga, Tenn. In 1979, he moved to Atlanta with his family when he was 12, where he began singing in a church choir. Usher was soon recruited by a talent scout for LaFace Records, who signed Usher while he was still in high school. He released his first album in 1994 and Think Of You, became a top 10 hit.
In 1997 Usher returned with My Way, produced by Jermaine Dupri and executive produced by L.A. Reid and Babyface. The album was a huge success, dominating the R&B charts for weeks and eventually going multi -platinum.
On his third album effort 22-year-old R&B/pop star Usher Raymond makes the not-so-simple transition from post-teen heartthrob to love man. He does it with solid songs and a generous helping of charisma and vocal acumen, making this much-delayed collection a hot summer treat.
Usher has made a real name for himself and is the heart throb to thousands of women and has a voice that never fails him and will be around for a long time to come.
