I feel a Tom Hanks connection coming on! :D I had wanted to watch this film since it came out but hadnt got the chance until this weekend and once another brilliant performance from Mr Hanks!
Professor G.H. Dorr (Hanks) leads a criminal crew to rob the counting room of a floating casino by tunneling from the basement of one unknowiing accomplice, Mrs. Munson. Each of his four companions has their own specialty which makes them useful to the job. The problem is that to fool Mrs. Munson, they must cover their tunneling actions by faking to practice church choir music.
This film is a mix of Oceans Eleven and Big Mommas House, it has the criminal workings but yet has a touch of comedy.
It is a great film and a film that definitely deserves a second look.

Great review again Amy! :D
I've liked the look of this film too and Tom ranks alongside Gary Oldman as my fave. actor. Must...see... :D |

another decent enough film, although i prefer the original.
there's just too many remakes these days! why can't writers think of new ideas? |
