After The Bedroom Project having to pull out of this gig due to an injury, we were a bit worried about the turn out but in true Stagefright ways we carried on and ploughed ahead!

The first band on were Perfect Imperfection. Now these guys have not been together long but they played some great tunes with the singer pelting out some meaningful lyrics with a voice that was far beyond his age.

Next on were Falik, these guys kindly stood in, at the last minute to fill the gap. One of Falik's highest and most important aims is to have fun, Now considering they are between 15 and 16 years old they are absolutley amazing. I dont think I have ever seen that good a bassist at that age before! They even played Rancid's 'Maxwell Murder' to a T. And along with their comedy on-stage antics they really got the crowd going.

Third on were S.L.O.T standing for Serious Lack Of Talent, which is not really the case! I had only heard these guys a few times before but they had certainly improved, with their punk sound and the guitarist with the Mohican and their 'we dont really give a monkeys' attitude they played a great set.

The headliners tonight were Wishlist. I had never heard these guys before and I found out that the singer had only just joined the band but you serioulsy couldnt tell. Wishlist are an exciting talent on the scene and have received praise from across the board, from fellow musicians and music fans alike. They were a great way to finish the evening.

All in all it was a great night with a happy atmosphere. I can safely say that everyone had a brills time.

You can now check out the new Stagefright Promotions website here www.stagefright-official.co.uk for reviews and future gigs.

Photos coming soon....
