Former BUSTED heartthrob CHARLIE SIMPSON was attacked onstage by a disgruntled fan of the former boyband as he performed with new group FIGHTSTAR on Sunday (16JAN05).
The YEAR 3000 hitmakers devastated devoted fans on Friday (14JAN05) by announcing the end of their chart run, so Simpson can pursue a career with rockers Fightstar.
And one particular fan chose to express their unhappiness by pelting Simpson with paint while he sang at the gig in Dublin, Ireland.
An onlooker says, "Fightstar crowds are primarily older Busted fans who want to see Charlie, but there's been a lot of aggravation among the supporters since the split.
"Many are upset with Charlie for not taking a break from Busted to do Fightstar, then returning to the group."
Of the attack, the concert-goer adds, "Suddenly Charlie was hit with something during the set. He looked hurt and shocked, but he carried on playing."
Simpson's spokesperson says, "A boy threw a toy covered in red paint during the gig. He went up to Charlie and apologised afterwards."
Awww poor Charlie....he didnt deserve that! :cry: |

I thought some nut job would wanna ruck with him, heck I probably would if Mathew Bellamy announced tomoz he was forming a band and ditching Muse! :lol: |

Charlie gets way too much stick for leaving busted. We all know how much a loved busted but as soon as one member is unhappy then its time to call it quits really. Fightstar plays amazing music and i don't blame him for leaving if he wants to be happy. Matt and James are big boys and will bounce back soon. There is already meetings with executives as to the future for the both of them in whatever path they wish to follow. At least busted ended on a high with a sell-out tour. 2004 was definitely their year and to expect charlie to do something that he no longer feels passionately about is out of the question. His heart lies with fightstar so that's where he is. I've had to stick up for him in so many places so just thought i'd bring it here too!

Been away for ages because of horrible exams but i'm back and raring to go as ever! |

I'm not horrible the damn exams were!
Felt i havent ranted for a while and feel pretty strongly about this so thought i'd lash out at charlie-haters! Let the eyebrowed one be happy, Matt and james wil get over it and will go on to bigger and better things |

Not at all. If i see anyone try to do it at manchester they will have to deal with an angry louise....and nobody wants to deal with an angry louise! :evil:
The charlie-haters are just upset that busted aren;t together but....so am i. I'm not being an immature dickhead about it, i've accepted that he didn't want to carry on and i will continue to give my full support to ALL THREE of the guys that have brought me so much joy over the past 3years. |

Had AS level resits and still got one more A level exam and then i can relax for a while. Since i was last on:
*i have quit one of my jobs*
*busted have split and i cried*
*went to busted's last date of their last tour EVER :cry: *
*i worked new years eve and earned £100 for it*
*i have booked a holiday to zante with 13 other 18year old girls :shock: *
And that's about it. Going to see green day in 8days and i can't wait for that. I am 18 on the 6th of feb so am very much looking forward to that. Got a fair few concerts coming up that i am excited about.
How is everyone else? |
